• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone know how to use a Sena SMH10 with a half helmet? My wife prefers in warmer weather to wear her half helmet.

JT,

With enough Velcro, I'm sure you could fabricate some way to do it. ;)
Also Sena makes the SPH10H-FM headset specifically for a half helmet. I have one. Works fairly well.

The half helmet works well with the SENA SPH 10H, which is designed for half helmet use. We have used SENA communications devices on our half helmets for the past four years after struggling with the CARDO system before that.

The SENA 'P" model has a metal piece that slides into the helmet between the outer shell and lining (they supply a tool for making that work) and it fits right into the space where the triangle for the helmet strap comes over the ear. Some helmets need a little trim work on the strap to make it fit. I use a Fulmer helmet and I had to take it to the shoe repair shop to have him cut and stitch so it fit better.

Since we use half helmets year round we find them most comfortable with a balaclava underneath in the winter.

The 'P' model uses a boom mic that comes out of the left side of the device and appears to be less prone to wind noise than the full helmet models.

Is it for her (keep her quiet) or for yall? Otherwise TURN THE RADIO UP! (Fyi bachelors opinion)

We both have Bell Mag 9 helmets that are designed for the Sena SMH10 but she likes to wear her half helmet when it's warmer. We communicate with the blue tooth and both listen to the music on our phones.
