• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Securing Freedom Trailer

We are concerned about our trailer being stolen when traveling and when it is disconnected from the Spyder and possibly left in a hotel parking lot not necessarily next to anything it can be attached to. Any suggestions on a solution that might prevent someone from just rolling it onto a trailer and taking it away?

Bring it into the room with you... nojoke
(You should be able to carry it through the doors...)

Otherwise: it's time to invest in some REALLY good locks and cables.
don't unhook it from the bike: lock the coupler down tight to the hitch, make sure that the hitch can't be unbolted, and then: run a cable through something solid under the trailer, and hook that around something solid!
Oh! Park where you can actually see the bike also!

Just get a trailer rider on your insurance policy, at a hotel park it in plain sight and at night attach it to your Spyder.

If you worry too much about stuff you won't have any fun.

Seriously get a 12-15' krypton cable, a GOOD padlock and attach it to something. Park it in a lighted area or outside your door.
