• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SECOND Washington Spyder Owners Meet 'n Eat

Okay...Since the Fall Meet 'n' Eat was such a success (especially since the weather was so awful), I'm setting up the first Spyder Meet 'n' Eat of the 2011. This time it will be on the East Side of Puget Sound, at historic Twede's Cafe. This is the cafe made famous by "Twin Peaks" in the 1990's.

It's a cool little diner that promises great food and a lot of it, and "A Darn Fine Cup o' Coffee."

Second Washington Spyder Owners Meet'n Eat

Count us in too, we'll be coming up from Vancouver, WA on our 2009 red and black Can Am Spyder Roadster SE5.:clap::clap::yes::yes::yes:

UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!!

The Meet 'n Eat is the same day as the BRP "Ultimate Playground" event at the Convention Center in Tacoma, Washington.

I have coordinated with BRP that they will reserve us some parking spaces and personally greet us if we are able to meet them at the "Ultimate Playground" event when the doors open at 10AM.

So why not do BOTH? I'm planning a group ryde to Tacoma for the BRP event, then ryde to North Bend for the Meet 'n Eat afterwards.

If you are interested in doing a group ryde to Tacoma for the BRP event, let me know by Sunday, March 13th. I need to send a count of Spyder owners that will be ryding there so that there is enough room for us. Shoot me a PM, e-mail, or call if you want to join in the fun.

Otherwise, I'll see you at Twede's!

Called Twede's yesterday and they have a LARGE table they will hold for our 1PM arrival. Less than 2 weeks away!!!

Man what a great group of folks! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all. Sorry for our early departure, duty called and I needed to get back. Man did we hit a rain storm for about 10 minutes along the way... lol

Anyway... We are texting Corry tomorrow (His day off) to place an order for a Red RT-S SE5. Time for another fire breathing RT in Washington

We are looking to plan for the Redwoods trip if all goes well. Today we hauled the last three load of "Stuff" from our old home to our new one... We are going to take a week off from boxes and rain, drink coffee and tea, and dream about all the rydes we will go on with our new found friends

Oh my! Almost forgot... A big thank you to Clem's and BRP for the opportunity to see some new stuff, and a very impressive meal @ Twedes. Sandra and I have made a commitment to go back once a month to Twedes on the tail end of a ryde for some good eating... Not to mention the pie

I thought for sure Slybird would get the longest distance ryder recognition.... Then Gasman had to come all the way from BC to beat them out :shemademe_smilie: :roflblack::ohyea:

Greetings! I totally agree. What a GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE. Made the trip up from Portland worth it in spades. It was great getting to meet everyone and to put some faces on all those "handles". BTW - :congrats::congrats::congrats:on the ordering of your Viper Red RT-S, my friend! I know you and Sandra will LOVE it and never regret the decision. Kathy (MsKitty) and I look forward to getting together with a number of you later on this summer down in the Redwoods. OH!!! A huge thanks from the Portland/Vancouver group goes out to the gentleman who so graciously picked up the tab for the entire lunch! Totally unexpected but hugely appreciated!!

Again - :2thumbs: THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU for a wonderful weekend!

p.s. MsKitty's now put over 2,000 miles on her RT-AC over just the last two months. I'm so proud of her!:firstplace::clap::2thumbs:
