• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seattle to Myrtle Beach tour

Looks like a nice mix of highway and byway. I love the 2 lanes but appreciate the superslab when there's many miles to be covered and the scenery stays the same.

It has been an interesting trip so far to say the least. Glad to hear things are going better and you are still safely moving along.

we are in WV heading north to PA.

We are in Fairmont,WV waiting for the weather to improve. The trip has been going well. Our stay in SC was fun. One last surprise to pull in Aschtebula, OH, and then off to MI.

Scotty, we will be in touch with you when we get closer to MI, maybe the end of this coming week.

Had to replace the tires on my Honda in Myrtle Beach. Getting towed was a real trip. It was either that, or spend 2 days 250 miles from the M. Beach.
A real PITA.

the Spyder blew a fuse for the tailights/brakelights. This started a code across the screen. After we replaced the fuse, no more codes. Weird. Other than that, its been 3900 miles and Spydie has been running just fine. The driver, on the other hand, needs an overhaul!! Sure am grateful for the Day Long seat on the Honda!

Oh, and the Biker Dog of the Year,Kiddo, is drawing crowds, on and off the Spyder. *ARF*

Sorry to hear about needing tires on the trip, I am sure that was an additional expense you would have rather done without. I also blew that fuse before, and it makes an ABS failure code appear, and then Limp Home if you get on the brakes a little hard with it blown. I had to find the short from my new license plate light, and fix that before I stopped blowing the fuse. Hopefully yours was just a glitch this time.

I hope the rest of your trip is uneventful, and you have a great time.
