• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seat stitching

Is anyone having problems with the stitching on their seats? Today I noticed the fabric is beginning to separate from the stitching located just behind the center console door. The part that is sort of shaped like an upside down triangle. It 's beginning to pull apart around the tip. I'll have to take it to the dealer tomorrow. Luckly, it should be covered by warranty. May want to search the threads on here for stitching (:roflblack:ok, I know, too easy....) - I seem to recall that seats were being covered under warranty for stitching

I check with the dealer it is covered under warranty. It appears they stretched the cover to tightly when trying to attach it to the cushion. The passenger cover of the seat is raised also. Mine isn't the only one I've noticed with the passenger cover rising some. It may be heat related. Dale

Was at the dealer yesterday. They had a spyder on the floor with the stitching already pulled out. Talk about quality control. :banghead: Tom :trike:

I had this same problem, see pic below, and my dealer was going to replace the entire RT seat under warranty. I didnt want to bother with it now but planned to do it in the winter. Then I stopped by an upholstery shop near Cleveland TN and talked to them about re-doing some of the padding in the RT seat.

Finally, for $125 they pulled some of the oem foam, added softer foam, and re-stitched the loose threads almost good as new.

The results were pretty good. Now I actually sit a little lower in the seat but we'll see after I get some mileage on it.
