Seat plug!?

Ok guys.
I am installing some power ports on my dash for charging stuff and took off the seat (stock).... There is a plug connected to the seat and the bike :shocked:
What is it for? And why is it there? We can not figure that out :dontknow:
Anyone have a clue?
