• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Calling for near 70 tomorrow here in CT with a chance of snow on the weekend. Any Nutmeggers up for an afternoon ride?

If the missus will let me out, (I'm kind of in the doghouse right now - sorry Snoopy -) I'm down for a ryde. I will PM you tomorrow. Maybe ryde up to Bull's Bridge/Kent/Kent Falls?

FEEL SORRY

I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU NORTHERN RIDERS....
some of the best riding i do is between November to April... from my area, Easley, SC, i ride east to the coast, west to GA & AL and south to Florida... traffic is much lighter during this time of year, and if/when it does get chilly, you can always put 'more' clothing on...
my only suggestion to you northerners is to get yourselves trailers, and bring your SPYD3Rs south, and ride ride ride....
i'm heading to Lake Lure, NC to have Blackened Chicken Wings at the Pavilion tomorrow... suppose to be 80 & sunny...
ride safely, and enjoy the scenery....

We Northern Riders hate you.:roflblack::roflblack:

Beautiful Yesterday, October 27th

We had an almost unheard of 80 degree day in late October and I made the most of it. November is generally when Mother nature slams the door shut on riding season here in Northwestern Ohio. Even then we've had a few freakishly warm years where I've continued to ride well into November. Whatever happens, I'll be ready for it as the Battery Tender and the Sta-Bil are on the shelf ready to use but a few more days of riding weather are always more than welcome.

Been there done that..!!

From where I ryde all I will say is grab every chance you get. While in Conn thats what I did...:thumbup:

It is looking like last week Thursday, may have been my final ride for the season. Two and a half blocks of black ice/snow covered road is keeping me from the main roads. Temps yesterday PM were in the low 20's. I will give it one more week before the :spyder2:,s receive Stabil and are put on the chargers.

UPSIDE: I have ridden two weeks later than in the previous 13 years.
