Screen gone Blank update

Well, I went out and turned trip meters A@B back to zero, and my total mileage went to 18. I called the dealership in Lynchburg, and the guy said he had no idea what could have caused that. I asked him if he could call Can Am and get some idea of what might be wrong and what it would take to set it right. He said that he could not do that with out the bike in front of him, and that I would have to take it to a dealer, BS, it takes weeks to get it into the shop in Durham. I have had so much trouble with this bike, it has been one thing after another, I would not reccomend it to anyone.

I'm sure that other :spyder2:lovers will agree with what I am about to say, but sorry to hear about your issues. Not everybody is having the issues you've had but from what I have read in your other posts, I would recommend finding another dealer. I understand that your actual dealer is far away, meaning that the next one is even further away.

I would strongly recommend emailing or calling BRP's customer support http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10017 and argue the issue. By doing this you might get a positive response out of it, I can say (for now) I have and others have as well and ended up enjoying their :spyder2:Good luck!

Thank you for you info. I enjoy my bike, love riding it, but, I guess I am just worn out with the issues that I have been having. I would like to know if it was made on Friday or Monday :gaah: Maybe that doesn't apply in Canada!!

I'm real sorry to hear that you've had a spell with it... On the bright side you could sell it as a VERY low mileage bike... :shemademe_smilie::shocked:

I suspect a new cluster will take care of it...and possibly some of the other difficulties. Not sure if they can reflash the cluster, but if so, that would be a possibility, too.
