Saw a yellow RT Sunday

Saw a yellow RT Sunday morning in Grants Pass, at a gas station, didn't see the plate. Got on the hiway for the first time today, felt ok, starting to get used to my ST, 175 miles......

I have seen a yellow spyder a couple of times in the area. I have tried to get turned around to talk but lost sight of him . I have a 2014 white RT-S in case you see one in GP. I have about 600 miles experience on the spyder so am just learning myself. I am taking mine to medford for the 500 mile service tomorrow. Hope to see you around.

uuummmm first service?

I understood its about 3000 miles for the 2014's. It was 600 miles for the previous models.

I just had mine done. Ride is much better after the lubing, belt tensioning, oil change, and all the rest they did.

First Service: 2014's with the 1330 ACE--first service at 3000 miles. Then--every 9300 miles or once a year--whichever comes first. No valve adjustments required

Rotax: 998 First service at 600 miles.

The Medford dealer said there was a 500 mile service required??? I have a couple of questions that I need to ask so will take it in and ask about the need for the 500. Thanks for the information.

Saw 2 more early this morning! Black RT North end of town and then a silver at the South end of town. Again, couldn't see any plates, so not sure if they are local.

Since you have a 2014 RT--first service is for sure at 3000 miles. I don't have the owners manual handy, but recommend looking it up so you can show the dealer something that they should already know.
