• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Savannah GA Trip

Hey y'all! The wife and I just got back from a great visit to Savannah... That city is full of history and things to do. Of course we stayed at a bed and breakfast that was just awesome and well worth the money. If you're looking for the Motel 6 options and pricing accordingly they have that too, but if you're wanting to be downtown in the thick of everything and within walking distance of just about anything, stay in a bnb. We originally were going to stay just 4 nights but ended up extending our stay another day because we wanted to do more!

Of course we rode separately... Me on the spyder and she on her goldwing trike. The trip isn't bad from Atlanta, a modest day trip of about 250 miles. It did get warm on the way down, and of course humid, so it did cause some discomfort with full gear. I would definitely visit Savannah again, because of all the things to do downtown, available beaches nearby, and great restaurants (picture taken from the famous Leopold's Ice Cream Shop, while enjoying a nice waffle cone at noon, lol) IMG_20150528_124004700.jpgIMG_20150527_095245946.jpg and the other picture is the Owens Thomas House, just beautiful and the architecture is just awesome. Last but not least a photo taken from Tybee Island of their famous lighthouse

Joe,
Are you riding the spyder all that way? SCAD is graduating their seniors this weekend, so things should slow down a little after that. It will be hot and humid... It always is lol, so plan on drinking a lot of water and also plan on walking a lot. The beauty part is, there is a ton of shade and places to sit, and rest while sight seeing. The town is casual dress, unless you plan on eating out at a fancy restaurant, but even then people are in there with shorts and tee shirts. The Live Oaks are just gorgeous and huge ...please don't touch the Spanish Moss that hangs on them and other trees, the red bugs will tear you up.
Have fun, we certainly did!
