• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know this has been discussed a lot in this forum but I really would like some inexpensive soft bags since I seldom use them. I know a lot of you liked the NR bags but had a problem with the turn signals being in the way.Has anyone found a better setup? Some thing easy to take on and off.

I had them same problem with the NR 950 bags hitting the turn signals. I needed to ride double which moved them back past the signals. I ended up making a spacer to hold them out from the side of the bike enough to take the pressure off the signal. Not the best setup but OK for a day or two trip.

I also had the Nelson-Riggs bags, but I also had the company send me the strap extensions, at no cost, and never had a problem with the turn signals. We did find that if you reversed the bags, it gave the passenger a little more foot room, on the pegs.

I had no problem riding two-up with my Cortech soft bags. The signals were still visible. I have the Corbin saddlebags now, but these worked good for us on our first trip to AZ back in April 2008.
