• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If the Dealer installed these for you then take the Spyder back to have them look at it and show you how it all works.

Are you talking about the removable plastic panel that sort of sits at the juncture point of the two halves of the bag? :dontknow:
I've seen them sitting loose in the bags at the dealership...

I just purchased used BRP saddlebags for my F3. They are on there pretty solid after some serious cussing. Not sure what you mean by inside rail, You would have to show some pictures for me to get a good idea of what you are talking about. if your talking about the grab rail "rail" there are different bolts and connections with the bolts that need to be installed to have the saddlebags slide in and sit properly.
Also inside the saddlebags is a turn knob, if turned correctly, this slides your saddlebags into a slot attached to the Spyder to hold them in. Sometimes to get this in correctly I would loosen the slot connection attached to the Spyder, turn the knob inside the saddlebag and then tighten the slot connection attached to the spyder for a very tight connection. If the Dealer installed these for you then take the Spyder back to have them look at it and show you how it all works.

I have the F3L and they were a factory install.

I purchased my bike used.

Cant really tell from the pictures, is it something "inside" the saddlebag causing you issues?

Mine are always popping out. :banghead: Just snap them back in. And repeat, and repeat, and repeat. :roflblack: PITA for sure. Tom :spyder:

I got tired of having them getting in the way. The F3-T side bags have a very limited amount of space. There is not even enough room for a six pack of beer. My side rails are sitting somewhere in my garage, don't see any good reason to use them.

I agree. On the side I have my rain gear and travel cover, I took it out. On the other side, it keeps stuff from falling out.

Thanks all ... I thought mine were broken or something.

I will probably remove them also can't see that they are doing anything besides annoying me.
