• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HowTo: Ryker - Riser for the back shock

We use longer shocks on the front, but for our 2up tours we are still not satisfy with the expensive Fox-shock what was installed from beginning on, she is too low on the back.
After a longer Italian tour, where we bottomed out some times and got some cuts in the fender and on the swing arm, we got a tip to install a 1,5 inch shock- riser - works fine - our max-mount is unloaded now two inch higher than before, its a proto-typ, so no order-number for it ..
(should have installed it 20.000 miles ago .)
Would be better and cheaper if Elka or Fox is offering a longer (400mm) shock for the back, the 360mm is too short ..

here our Italian adventure-tour - 1.500miles

Hopefully some will shoot this idea out to them and maybe design some thing like that!!! A shock with a longer throw should be a piece of cake for them.
