Ryker Hangers

Added 15” hangers to my 900. Full disclosure, the steering is less responsive. It steers just fine but I will be less aggressive in my cornering. Also my hand guards do not fit as the bar bends are different. Those two drawbacks aside I live the hangers. Great ride position and very comfortable on my shoulders. Plus it gives the bike more of an old school chopper look which I love. All in all an easy wiring job and loads of fun

I was thinking more like a Harley Heritage handle bar, which looks like a mini-ape hanger. I put one on my Softail and it gave me more of an upright posture and was really comfortable for long drives. I was thinking about doing the same on this. Thanks for being one of the first to explore the idea of replacing the stock handlebar. I prefer sitting upright when I ride,not hunched over like I am racing. I also would like to get a higher windshield because the stock one (even though it adjusts) is not high enough to get the air stream over my head.
Looks nice, even though I am not into the real high ape hangers. I can see how it would make turning a bit more of an effort.:thumbup:
