• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryker Battery Strap - how do I get it back on?!?

 I have seen the videos to take the strap off but haven't seen anyone show how to get that bitch back on without removing the front fascia. What a stupid design. Has anyone figured out how to get the front metal "loop" hooked back on?

You don't have to take the front fascia off completely. Don't even loosen the two torx screws below. Just unhook the clips on the upper back side of the fascia and that will loosen up that part of the fascia that is tight against the battery strap. I learned this from and thanks to my mechanic at "Jim Potts Motor Group" Woodstock IL.

We did it without taking off any parts... but with two people. I grabbed the strap with pliers and stretched so there was slack and that allowed my wife to slip it in the front until she could catch it to hold. Agreed that it is terrible design. Thinking of making a belt with a buckle!

There ya go ... my local hardware carries different lengths and widths of velcro straps that will adjust to any size. Or there's always Amazon ...
