• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After buying three spinner wrenches I finically found one that is very easy to use and actually works.
It is the Progressive Suspensions Pre-Load Spanner Wrench. SW-783. I purchased it on Amazon for under $10.00. For me, problem solved!

I also purchased one, same one but different brand and it works great.

I have one like it that I modified to fit the head bearing adjusting nut on my FJR. It worked to back off the spring nut, just not sure how it would work in the opposite direction. So what did you use for the front shocks? Or do either one of you have a Rally? Someone posted that they could be adjusted by hand with the load off but I cant turn them.....

I have a Rally and was able to adjust front shock by hand going from 3 to 2, but I wanted to go to 2.5 which would be tightening the shock, and was unable to get it to move also... I will try lifting the front end to see if I can get it to move. Still not sure the best way to lift the bike, in order to get the load off the front.

Just grab the spring and adjusting nut at the same time and turn both at the same time. It seems easier that way for me.

Ps: I forgot to say, no need to lift the wheel.
