• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Ryker 900 CVT Drive Belt Replacement - Any Preference in Manufacturers?

Mileage is creeping up there on my '22 Sport, so CVT belt replacement will be due in the next couple of months (if the snow stays away). Any preference amongst the collective for the manuf. of choice (Dynojet, BRP. ???) for a durable replacement?

TIA

Drive belts are one of those things that a person does not want to cheapen out on in my book unless you REALLY have to! If you get one with a harder compound you wear out your chives on your clutches; too soft, it will slip and make a mess and wear out fast! BRP specs out a belt, why not stick to it unless you can't afford it! But besides just replacing the belt, make sure you blow out the clutches and do a full inspection of the moving parts in there before you close it up! Next to the motor, that is the heart of the beast and it's what makes all the smiles happen. Good luck!!
