• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Can-Am Ryker discussions forum has much more threads (1701) and posts (currently 19419) than this Ryker Shop Talk forum (currently 86 threads and 811 posts). In the interest of more information sharing, to benefit Ryker ryders and potential Ryker owners, lets post stats for the Ryker 600 not readily available from BRP.

To kick this off:

1. XPS 5W40 good only up to 104F
https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/e...4t-5w40-synthetic-blend-oil-1-qt--0946-l.html

2. BRP air filter (engine and trans) 707 800 306 is the equivalent of Big Bike Parts 5-402 (currently $15.95) and Aprilla/Moto Guzzi AP8104329 (currently $15.20 from AF1racing.com)

3. NGK 7784 stock copper spark plugs (currently $5.99 at O'Reilly's) may be replaced by NGK 4128 iridium (currently $8.99 at O'Reilly's) for at least 3X the life.

The above info is common to 900 and Rally...posted to encourage 600 owners to post anything 600 specific.
Perhaps a photo of spark plug access through the glove box.
