• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Although there was a horrific hurricane not 200 miles south, the Intrepid Crew of the Central Alabama Spyder Ryder Naredowells assembled at the host dealership http://www.bignumber1.com/ . The "Post Sales Events Coordinator" (not going to mention his name) stated everything was taken care of, parking, food, drinks. As the plan was to leave by 12:30, the pizzas arrived at.....12:30. As we stood meandering about the dealership, I'll bet we sold 3 Spyders talking to prospective customers.

We followed the "pizza guy" right into the customer lounge and proceeded to devower the 2 large pepperoni pizzas. Just after hearing the announcement that the pizzas were accually for "Customer Appreciation Day", a young man and his son walked into the lounge and muttered, "sorry kid, the Spyder guys ate all the pizza". Way to go Big #1, we'll rethink our gathering place on our next adventure. Contact me if you want to get involved in promoting the Spyder.

We left there a few minutes late but managed to navigate the interstate traffic without a hitch. The rain and wind made the adventure through town a challenge, but not too much for the Intrepid Crew.

We landed at http://www.barbermotorsports.com/ (Barbers Motorsports Museum and World Class Race Track) for a group picture. For those that hadn't visited the museum, we peaked in and decided a return visit was mandatory. http://www.barbermuseum.org/

Due to the weather, and previous committments, we were down to 3 on our way to http://www.29dreams.com/ 29 Dreams Motorcycle Resort. The road to the resort is a mini twisty. As we passed 2 wheelers struggling to keep the rubber on the road, the Spyder was a blast manhandling the curves with the sticking power of any open wheel racecar.

Due to the rain/wind, the resort was ours.

We were down to 2 leaving the resort. The remaining Crew Members headed 40 miles East on the interstate heading right into the 30 mph winds on the outer bands of the super hurricane Fay. Another testiment to the Spyder, we passed hundreds of cars struggling with the inclement conditions.

Now to the fun part.

According to Harry, photographer for Full Throttle Magazine, the Spyders "stole the show".

General opinion from the Intrpid Crew on the reaction to the Spyder....

"Nothin' but net!!!"
