RT622 Trailer 2012

Just purchased a RT 622 2012 Trailer from dealer. He gave me the OEM module harness with the maching round 12 pin electrical coupler and wired it up on my 2011 RTS. All works well but I noticed that when I turn on the emergency flashers the trailer tail lights do not flash except only when egnition switch is in the on position. Is this correct? Bob

They should flash even with the ignition off. This is a serious safety issue. I would go back to the dealer and have them take care of it. It should be corrected under warranty, but be prepared to leave the :ani29: & trailer with them for a day or two. Electrical issues are by far the hardest to sort out, and take time.
