• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT20+ - List what must, can, and cannot be IMPROVED

Want to make a million? Write an easy-to-install patch that kills the safety message requirement on startup.

If you hit the starter as soon as you turn on the key you won't have to wait on the safety screen, it will be bypassed. You will of course have to have the brake pedal mashed. This works on my 2020 RTL

Another great video Martin. You are doing some really good work over there.

This does not work on my 2022 RTL. It must be done as Rider Steve says. I have to wait for the road graphic (or whatever it is) to display, hit the mode button, then hit the starter. The brake does not have to be applied if the bike is in neutral.

I just tried this on mine (also a 2020 RTL) and it does not work.

I have the 2022 RTL. I can press the mode button to bypass the safety message right after power on. Then start. No problem.

Thats what I forgot to mention in my post........ getting old blows. Yes mash the mode button and brake pedal as soon as you turn it on and it fires right up. (I always mash the brake pedal as a safety precaution)

In my experience with RT's you must depress the brake pedal to start the engine, all years, any model (I don't know about Rykers, never rode one). I don't understand how your 2022 starts without doing that. The following is from the 2022 RT operator manual, page 52 Starting and Stopping the engine.
1. Push down and hold the brake pedal. The vehicle can be started in any gear with the brake pedal pressed. The transmission automatically shifts to neutral when the engine has been started.
2. Turn the key to ON
3. Refer to the Safety Card as needed to prepare yourself, your passenger and the vehicle, then press the MODE button to allow engine starting.
4. Set the engine stop switch to the RUN/ON position.
5. Press and hold the engine start button until the engine starts. Do not hold the start button for more than 15 seconds. If it does not start, release the button and wait 30 seconds to let the starter cool down before trying again...

On my 2021 RTL I have foot on brake…turn key …IMMEDIATELY press mode and park brake buttons with left hand…then quickly push start button with right hand..I do this very fast… I don’t wait for the safety graphic to appear on the screen.. but sometimes I do see it flip on then go away. She starts right up.
