• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT WRAP?

I am getting ready to do a full body wrap on my 2010 RTS. so far I have found a kit I like that is custom cut for complete body for the RT on spyderdetailing.com. That's the only complete offering I have found so far for the RT. Have any of you used the kit from spyderdetailing and how did you like it and /or have you seen any other supplier that offers full kit for the new RT?? thanks in advance for any input

I'll be heading over to Pete's place to do a wrap on my RT after Bikeweek. Right now we are in the planning stage but I think we are going to wrap the bottom and do some text on the top and leave the stock paint for the most part on top.

I have the Spyder Detailing wraps on both of our Spyders and can't say enough good things about the quality of the product. You must take your time, and be patient, while installing it, but the end result is definitely worth it.

Best of luck with yours.

Your warps look great, I was thinking of wrapping my Spyder but i ride all winter through salt/gravel/sand and mud . I'm way past the stage where i enjoy cleaning a bike more than once or twice a season,
So for me it would be a wast. Besides i have absolutely no patience.
A while ago i was at the Doctor and he told me i only have Six months, I told him i can't wait that long i can do in Three.
But all kidding aside how durable are the wraps?

The wraps are very durable. I do have one spot on the piece of the trunk where the Autobot symbol is that took a rock hit. It took a really small piece off, but you may not even notice it if you don't know what you are looking for.

The cool thing is I started with only 1/4 of my front fenders covered, and had it that way for almost a year. Then I got the full fenders when we ordered my wife's kit. I installed those, and the color and vibrance on the body panels are still a perfect match to the newer fender strips.

I use Original Bike Spirits, used to be Honda Wipe I believe, and it does a great job of cleaning and shining all in one shot. Spray it on and use a microfiber cloth to wipe it off and make it shine. That is about as easy as it gets.
