• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Trailer info and vidio

NO!!! Lamont said the hitch can be installed on the '08 and '09 Spyders. That means the trailer will work too. Just can't get the colors to match. :(

The trailer will be available through Spyder dealers.

There is some talk between dealers and BRP about making primered trailers available. That would be HOT!

I still don't see how we can interface with Nanny. Not that I think we need to.I'm not worried about matching colors I will just call Peter Grant I am sure he can fix me up.

The RT-622 is sold in Full Moon Silver, Orbital Blue and Timeless Black to color-match your Spyder RT. The trailer is priced at $3,999.99 (US) and $4,879.99 (CA).

Pretty good price!

After watching the video it does appear they are mounting to the swingarm.... strange.

I really think BRP has hit this one out of the ballpark!!!

That setup --- an RT with the matching trailer looks REALLY sharp---- they are gonna sell a $%^&ton of these.

Really slick trailer--- wow!

Actually, if so, that "new" design is what MMG has been offering for the Spyder on EBay for the past year. In fact, I have that hitch that attaches to the swing arm and with which I have towed a 300 lb camping trailer (Aspen Sentry) all around New England and the Canadian Maritimes. I have had absolutely NO problems with it, and don't expect any. This is the same hitch that everyone was so quick to dismiss as being "unsafe, poorly designed," etc, etc. without even having seen it. One, I might also add, takes 5 minutes to put on and take off, and one that works perfectly with my Givi bags and I7 frame.
Sorry... I had to vent, but is HAS been a successful design!

I'm glad it's working for you. I'm told that the reason BRP went to a Patent Pending cush type hitch is they did have a problem with the hitch breaking without this additional shock absorber. I still have reservations with this design but they tested all the hitchs on the market and this is the direction they decided to go.

Bottomline is this is the only hitch currently aproved by BRP to be used on the RT.

trailer weight?

could you help me i am looking at a trailer the weight is 160kg tare is that to heavy to tow:dontknow: any idea what would be the max for trailer weight.
thankyou

That does make sense. I will have a look at that hitch.
