• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Trailer and tag mounting

After making brackets and lots of swearing, I finally have my tag on the trailer. Can anyone tell me that has thier trailer if they got a mounting bracket to fit the trailer tags? A standard motorcycle trailer tag will not fit since the mounting holes on the trailer are too far apart, making it necessary to fabricate a bar to drill and mount to. Kind of rediculous for a 4K trailer not to come with brackets, unless mine werent in when it arrived.:dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:

Trailer Motorcycle Size License Frame

The bolt holes are for full size license frames. I am making a bracket that will hold a motorcycle license frame and use the existing bolt holes which are about 1/2 to 3/4" outside of the width of the motorcycle license frame. It might be possible for me to get several made and lower the cost for me and others.

I have it designed and was going to take it to some machine shops to see what it would cost to cut, drill and powercoat.

That is unless Matt at Kewl Metal or one of the other Spyder key vendors wants to make one up.:D

For now, I have a piece of flat aluminum bolted to the tag and then to the trailer. I hope the tag makes the trip to Daytona and back..LOL

MN had a recent law change that put a sticky tag on the tongue of all lightweight trailers - lifetime fee. Had fun the first trip to CN as the guy looked in the mirror and said "you have no license for your trailer". So I have club stickers on the back of the Bushtec.
