• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I order the RT shocks for my GS :spyder2: from this web site, just thought it was a good dill. Plus got a spring compressor in the dill for less than $230..:yes:

Great price including the spring compressor! I've dealt with these guys before and they are good to work with. I pulled my trunk off to make the install easy.

I've been thinking about this mod for while. I would like to get it done before Gatlinburg. I'm working 12 hr shifts and haven't had a day off since July 15 and I'm not expecting a day off until Sept 18th. I was thinking about waiting for lack of time, but at these prices. I'll be ordering tomorrow. Any advice on using a spring compressor. I've never
used one before.
 
Thanks for the breakdown on the parts and prices. I am definitely considering this for mine as well as the Evo sway bar.
 
I really like my RT shocks---- and there's no need to remove the trunk--- can be changed in 1/2 hour with the trunk in place.

I didn't use the spring compressor as I didn't order one-- just had a local auto shop put the springs on the shocks ---
 
I already had the trunk off for some other work and can't imagine removing the upper bolts and lining everything up with the trunk in place.

Possible to do I'm sure but easier for me with it out of the way.

It really was no problem with the trunk in place-- just have the bike jacked up and put the top bolts in first. Then lower the bike down until you can line up the lower holes and put that bolt it.
