• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Pulls to the Left

I have a 2012 RT-S SE5 and from day one it pulls to the left. The dealer said I had grossly different tire pressure in the front tires and reset them (as anal as I am I don't think they could have been off more than 1 psig). That has not changed anything, and in fact I constructed a device to fill both tires at the same time for exactly the same pressure to be absolutely sure they are even pressure. After reading the service manual there is some settings in BUDS for steering angle sensor and torque sensor. If not the tires then it has to be something like this. I'll be seeing the dealer soon and see what they say.

Any other thoughts on what may make it pull to the left?

Pulls Left?

Not really but a couple of thoughts for you to ponder over.

1. Is your front end alignment correct?
2. Are the roads where you ride all "high crowned" constructed?

explanation of high crowned.

The way it was explained to me by an old timer front end alignment tech is a road is built with the center of the total width of the road bed is higher then the outer edges. So that when it rains the water runs off instead of puddling on the driving surfaces.

Mt 2011 RTL SE-5 which is correctly aligned as I had it checked by an alignment specialist while he demonstrated a laser alignment tool. Back on track! My Spyder wants to slid down the contour of the road bed. I have gotten used to it. Here in Florida our road beds are a mess depending on age. Some are high center crowned, some are flat in the middle and some are crowned in the middle of the driving lane being occupied by my machine. My 2006 Chevrolet Silverado wants to do the same thing it is just not as noticeable as the Spyder.

Check..!!

alignment as well as dps. The roads can be a factor if it only pulls on open roads and freeways in your area. If it pulls everywhere that would not be the case. See if ryding to the right and left side of your lane makes a difference. Once worked for a shop that serviced police bikes. They were suing honda for excessive wear on the tires on the left side. Come to find out these were the bike that worked the freeways and the spend most of the day making left hand turns... Good luck..!! Make sure they check it all at the dealer..!!

It is definitely not the roads and after reading the service manual I suspect the steering sensors are not set correctly. I've ridden on the crown, on the left side of the crown, on the right side of the crown and right down the middle of roads... I have to hold constant pressure on the left grip to go straight, not a lot but constant. The only time I don't notice it is when the roads go every which way but straight and level then I'm too busy...

Another issue is your front shock make sure they are set equally like the tire pressure and also any luggage wt. If not then its dealer time. good luck and let us know.:yes:

Ran up to the dealer 80 miles each way and they reset the torque sensor with the buds. Seems to have fixed the problem as best as I could tell with all the winds out.
