RT-S PE#0391
I was on the forum a couple of weeks ago and remember spotting a black RT (I have a black RT-S) with some type of chrome (or plastic/chrome) moulding along the center groove of the front fender. Looked sharp. I was wondering if others have done this, and what they did to do a clean application. I fade from going down to Pep Boys or Autozone to get some of that stuff one puts on cars, only to have it turn out blech.
The front fenders on the RT look made for some type of aesthetic dress up from Kewl Metal, et al. If one follows the center groove, it terminates at the fender tip light, which also has a recessed area around it that looks like it would accommodate a bezel of some sort. Would love to see some applications like this. Perhaps a custom bike shop could make it. I just think it would make the RT look regal.
