• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Color Changed?

MarkLawson

RT-S PE#0031
Talked to a friend today that had recently purchased a blue RT Audio & Convenience which is in the shop getting the 600 mile service. While there the blue RT-622 trailer she also ordered arrived. She tells me that everyone agrees, including the dealer, that they are two different colors of blue - they don't match!

I'm curious, could it be that they're possibly different model years that have different shades of blue? I asked if one was a 2010 & the other a 2011, but she didn't know.

Anyone out there know?

It's entirely possible that the batch of paint used on the bike panels is a different batch (and probably different hue/mixture) than the trailer paint.

Mutch like when you get household paint, wallpaper or flooring at your home improvment center, you need to buy the supplies in a large enough batch to get the best matching batches.

Just my thought.

That's possible, but it shows very poor quality control if it is that obvious. I wonder how the trailer color compares to the Quantum Blue on the RS. Maybe they painted it the wrong color. It has to be confusing having two colors of blue that are that close to each other. I would not accept it unless it matched.

I would check to see if the new trailer is 2011. Maybe there is a color differance from the 2010. :ani29:
