Don't know if its the same on the US model as the european model, I have a 2014 RT, the headlamps are adjusted by turning a knob under the front lower side panel. If you want to remove the headlight you must undo the nut securing the headlamp adjuster so you can pull it through the bodywork to get the headlamp unit out far enough to change the bulb.
So you start to undo the nut and the whole brass ferrule that is held by a nut shape in a plastic holder mullers the plastic holder now the whole thing turns and the nut won't come off with no way of holding the ferrule without dismantling half the bike:banghead:
I didn't dismantle any more I got my multitool and cut a hole in the front of the bracket so I could get a spanner on the top nut shape of the ferrule. What moron designed this, why put a nut on the ferule when a wire circlip would have done aswell.
Has anyone else had this problem?
