• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally got the antenna off, they must have used an entire production run of loctite just on my one. I ground 2 flats on a deep 7mm socket so a 10mm spanner fitted, the antenna thread size is 6mm
With a 6mm bolt and a 6mm screw joiner, sawed the head off the bolt and cut a slot in it, drilled the side of the joiner and tapped a 3mm thread in it. screwed the headless bolt onto the antenna base with a spring washer on it, then screwed the joiner over the headless bolt tightenend with a pipe grip.

Screwed antenna into joiner and tightened set screw that now goes all the way through the antenna thread
Now antenna easy to get off, and will never come loose and get lost.
