• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm trying to buy a 2012 blue RT-622 trailer to match my blue RT-S Spyder. Is there any other equipment I'll need to purchase, other than the trailer and the hitch? Also, does anyone have any good tips on how to get one of these trailers for a decent price? There are four Can-Am dealers in my area, so I figure I can check to see if any of them is willing to make me a deal. Does anyone know if the dealers actually stock these trailers, or do they have to order them directly from BRP?? Thanks in advance for any advice! :)

You should get a hitch pin lock for sure and if you will be unhitching the trailer and leaving it at say a motel you may want to pick up a long chain type lock that will go through the wheel and around something stationery.

As for getting a deal look for a dealer who has one in stock but doesn't have the RT in stock in Blue. Since it is late in the season they should be more inclined to deal with you. Look on ebay also.

I searched around by calling dealers. Found one about 1 1/2 hours from me that had what I was looking for.

Asked to talk to the owner or top-sales mgr who could make a quick decision. I got the owner.

Told him I am not going to waste his time... if he wanted to sell the red-trailer for the price I am offering I'll be there the next day to pay cash. I offered $3,500 for a new 2011 in November of 2011. The time of year was "key" to my situation.

He asked me to hold... checked his pricing and inventory (he said)... came back and told me to get there the next day. He did charge me taxes on top of that price. I also had to pay for license and title for my state; as required.

I have heard of others claiming to get them for less; and some have paid more. I was happy to pay $3,500 because I believed the cost was around that price and thought a dealer might want to at least get their cost back.

I am happy with the trailer.

I would get a long locking cable, a hitch-lock, and some auto-trim to put around the wheel wells. A rock bounced-up and made a small chip along the edge of mine. The trim covers it and looks good also (black trim). Trim would have avoided that from occurring.

Good luck...

I found a leftover 2011 in blue, brand new in the crate. I called and offered $3000 and I would pick it up the following weekend. It was 350 miles away. The owner said yes he could do that. It was in July of this year. I really like it! Was at my dealer last weekend and he wanted almost $4600 for a new one. You can find some good deals.

If you have a good body shop near you, you can still find left over 2010 for under $2000.

you then can purchase the BRP paint and have it painted to match for under $500.

the left over 2010 come with full warranty and have all the bulbs in the light holders, some quick wire mods in the back and you can wire up the turn signals to the break turn lights.

I paid $1900 for a used black 2010 RT622 and paid $450 for it to be color matched to lava bronze.
