• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT 2014 RECALLS

Sorry if this is a repeat!

This only effects certain VINS so check with your dealer/service.

1. Gas Cap replacement
Some may have seen people having problems removing cap. Ratcheting mechanism fails.

2. Windshield raise/lower mechanism. Center bushing/screw combo fails with the head of bolt/s shearing off leading to lose of bushing and windshield dropping.

All parts are presently in stock.

My thanks to Ian at Ridenow Powersport on Rancho in Las Vegas for the heads up!

Good information but I doubt these are recalls. Probably service bulletins.

Recalls are for very serious stuff involving the NHTSA.

U R probably correct! ;)

I'm just "quoting" what the head service writer stated. I only know what he says, not what he's thinking :D . I wanted to replace the bushing myself but because (he said) it's a "safety" related, they need to do it when the part/s come in.

I noticed mine was gone on the right side. Bike has 155 miles on it, went to House of Cycles in W.Monroe, they took one off of a floor model and gave it to me, I used blue locktite on the threads....
