Rt 2011 ltd error code P0180E

Good morning!

Does anyone know what the error code P0180E means?
I have searched the forum and spyderCodes App but I only find the P0180 referring to a gas temperature sensor.

Too many digits. P0180E is 6 digits long. Fault codes only have 5.

Little checking.....

A walk through the whole P0180 series shows that they all are fuel temp and sensor related..both A and B and goes on into the 90's...:dontknow:

Yesterday I looked for the code again and it does not appear anymore. It should only appear during start-up if the motorcycle is hot.

P0180 is a generic code for Fuel Temperature. This is used on several cars. I cannot find a Fuel Temperature sensor on my 2011 RTS electrical prints. ??????

I don't have a conclusive answer for you.
