• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RSS SE5 (2014} new no miles

Attempted to work a deal today but was quoted 19,566 before dealership discounts on a 2014 RSS SE5, correct me if wrong but is that MSRP? Or just an inflated number. No negotiations were offered either on bike value or requested payments, like when buying a car...whole process was weird compared to car buying. Is there really no negotiations available on bikes? I know supply and demand, but something would have been nice...

The BRP official website shows a 2015 RSS for $18,199.

Your dealer is trying to take you for a ride. I would run, run, run, from that dealer. He is charging you more for a 2014 than a 2015.

Smart dealers will deal, and there are bargains to be had. Just not at your current dealer.

With discounts that number was quite lower, but discounts applied to a higher MSRP still means they are holding an inflated value and not allowing any negotiations on the web site posted value. Stood on sales floor 20 mins before they came back with numbers, while another sales person kept saying "we are washing you bike so you can drive it home today"

holy smoly

:agree::agree::agree:..........I think I saw an ad for a 2015 Basic RT manual for about that price and they will ship it to for free. I agree with AK on this .......Mike ...............................check Home page Ads for IMotorsports

Wow, I am am surprised to hear it was Louis Powersports that treated you that way because there are a lot of people here on SL that have gotten great deals and have received stellar customer service there; including me

Agree that's why we was attempting to deal with them, recommendations are the best form of advertising. Deal is not dead yet, but they have more than one nail in the coffin. 19,599 base, 5,600 discounts, but starting from inflated value is an issue.

Sponsor here Imotorsports ships them for free. I would check them out. Not bought a bike from them but have bought shirts and other things. Top notch customer service with shipping and return.

I'm not...

Because before they took down their comments on their FB page there was a bunch of pissed off customers. And on Ebay they have a 92.8 feedback score. When I questioned, I believe it was Curtis, about the low score he said he only has one neg in 13 months. I told him that I fail to see how one neg could bring it that low. Got no reply back. What he didn't know was I had seen the numerous other neg feedbacks before it somehow got reduced down to last 13 months.
Just beware, I usually won't deal with someone on EBay if they have a 98 score.
And before others even start, yes I know some of you have gotten good deals. I'm only stating what I have seen and read.

When did the $2,000 off from BRP expire? I bought my 14 RS-S in March for $16,299 under that promotion for selected 2014 Spyders. :dontknow:
