hey guys/gals...
FOOT PEGS for your RS :ani29:...
i DYI'd a set this week for mine...
1" X 1/4" Cold Rolled Steel, a little cut'n, a little weld'n, drill'n n tap'n... add some paint, buy the pegs (@ CYCLE GEAR, i'll get better ones once my Florida trip proves these out)... and the results are:
no problems with interface with fenders... there are 2 holes in the underside panels, that let you drop a couple bolts thru... i made backing-plates, and on the left side i just tapped the holes in the backing-plates and bolted the bracket up into the plate - careful - a long bolt will injure the oil tank... on the right side, i tapped the plate and torqued the bolts down into it, and then i wiggled the assembly between the radiator to lower the bolts thru the holes, placed the bracket up from underneat and screwed a couple nuts on... took a short ride today (71 degs.) tanked up and came home... they worked gr8 for the short 5 mile round trip ryde... if any1 needs more info, i'd be happy to help...
