• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Talented...

Considering he has a tubed finger and missing two strings...:roflblack: thanks for the musical interlude.....

Nice blues chord progression with a couple licks thrown in. Four strings make some pretty good music.:yes:

It's not my style of music...

...But the Dude did have STYLE!

I wonder what prompted the "4-string" decision? :dontknow:

Banjo's, basses, violins, mandolins (8 strings but the 2nd in each position resonates with the same tuning), and ukes's. One or two less strings take some of the "spice" out of the sound and it "clears up" a bit.

Some of the old steel music used some pretty elaborate chords using fingers, pedals, and knee levers. Current cleans it up a lot. The result is more on point notes. Instead of the mind trying to figure it out, it just plays through with good sound.
