There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Anyone headed to Rolling Thunder over Memorial Day weekend this year?

I'm headed there on Thursday, 5/24 and leaving on Memorial Day and would love to meet up!

PM me.

hoping to ride over for at least one day. don't have a room reserved so if I go I expect it will be just over and back the same day. started over back in 2015 and made it to Lavale Md when I got a flat on the rear of the Road King. by the time I was ready to get back on the road it was to late to continue on so we just turned around and come home.

I've never been to Rolling Thunder. My Brother in Law goes nearly every year and he asked me to go along. I'm REALLY looking forward to the ride down there, going on a few rides with him and others in his biking "clan" on Friday and Saturday, then the big event on Sunday! I'll be the only Spyder in the group although that's pretty normal.

While I'm at it...

...anyone care to join for a ride on Friday, 5/25 or Saturday, 5/26?

If not, I'm ALWAYS up for some coffee. Again, PM me.

I came upon a group riding to DC a couple years ago as I was heading to Virginia. Quite impressive to see about a two miles stretch of motorcycle riders. Even more impressive was the reason they were riding together.

Rolling Thunder

I have never attended. What is it like?

I have attended this many years. You have to do it at least once. So many bikes coming from all directions. There may be a few cars but mostly bikes. People stand on the side of the road and wave at the four lanes of bikes thundering down the road.

Caution they move fast so be prepared to turn at a moments notice. We found the best thing to do is to avoid the Pentagon parking cut off a little early and park in the side streets close to the parade and then you can watch all the bikes in the parade. The reason I say that is that the parade lasts for hours so if you want to cut out before the end you can use the side streets to get out of town.
