There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Rode the Devils Whip and Diamondback yesterday!

As the title says, rode these two great bike roads for the first time yesterday afternoon. Tight twisties in the mountains and had a great time. Took two hours on I40 in the heat to get there but it was worth it. If you are around Marion NC, these roads will give you a thrill. Averaged 45mph on the Whip but forgot to reset the GPS for Diamondback. Most reviews say go slow on these roads but the Beast definitely got the ability to go faster. Got the front tires sliding around which was cool. Also hit my personal high of 109 mph on the ride up there. Gotta love these bikes!!

:yes::yes::yes:

Glad to hear that you had a GREAT time! :clap: :thumbup:
Do you have any more information about these roads?
Websites, maps, descriptions?? :dontknow:

Sounds like a fun ride.109 you were getting it done lol:yes:

Thanks. I only do the top speed runs on Interstates with nobody on board, and nobody in front of me. Nice wide lanes and if something happens, im only taking myself out. But I do love pushing the Beast as hard as I can.

Next is the Dragon. Gotta get a night off work during the week, (almost impossible), drop my wife off at the casino in Cherokee, and run it late in the day when traffic is low. Only had to pass a couple slow moving cars on the Whip and dont want to get behind any on the Dragon.

Disappointment

Bam Bam:
After riding those two roads, you may be disappointed with the Dragon. Considering the traffic on the Dragon, the other two are much better to ride.

Glad you had fun. Not sure if I have done the devils whip, but I know the other one is great. Next time, head further north and give the snake a try (421). It is also very nice.

Try the Devils Backbone sometime for the ride of your life. Highway #12 between Bryce Canyon and Torrey UT. One of my top five rides in the US.
