• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

yeah it got cold I guess. I found out a few things about it, after it gets to a certain point the snow gets somewhat gripper than you would think, almost like a better version of the salt flats, also the thing goes, if you can handle the cold.

I used a POS hjc snowmobile helmet because i did not put the anti fog insert from fog city in my arai but I will tomorrow, got the hood and side panel I ordered in yesterday so i should have them on today, I will try to get a ride in with the go cam on to with the snow setup out here.

I forgot about any windchill stuff thanks lamonster, I got the hood and side panel put on the spyder today from the deer hit, works great having a real trunk today, plus my breezeway has a ramp to my garage so that helps quite a bit. I also put that fog city insert in my arai and for those of you who haved used one on a ride I HIGHLY reccomend you try one, its night and day difference and I have had a few helmets not as many as some on here but it makes ALL riding better for me anyway.

The Fog City inserts are great. They eventually craze after a couple of years, but they are cheap enough to replace periodically. My Scorpion shield doesn't seem to fog, but for others I use the Fog City inserts. Highly recommended!

Seth, you're still :firstplace:.

well it was over 30 below today when I went home. over 15mph winds and it snowed earlier tonight, i want to get a go cam video done but its dark when I go to work and dark when I go in, I should just down one but its better during the day.

I have to say I am impressed with the way it handles once you get moving, with most of the weight over the front tires it sticks well.

Minnesota cold

We had the pleasure of meeting & riding with Seth one day this year. Seth is a 29yr old with a lot of heart & rides his sypder like hell, and his spyder goes like hell. He let me take a test ride on it. Seth is our kind of guy because his heated garage is 3 x's bigger than his house & I'm jealous! See you next year Seth!

bob is the man, rides like he is 20, jo and him are some of the nicest people you will meet.

The garage is coming along, its got a few more things, to do in it. Trying to find some way to get some shelving setup that works for me being in a chair and stuff. You should come up if you get a chance and see it now,

I wish it was 56 degrees here.

Can you just google "Fog City"? I am having :cus: with fogging. I have only tried one type of spray, but not too fond of it. What are these inserts and how do they work?

Hey Nick Caro,,..Were u riding down on the commute today in that mess to the belly of the beast?

I was thinking of u here in jersey.. going into the city in that ice , sleet and snow this AM.

Currently 21 F here in Flora. Overnight low about 17, according to the Weather Channel. Fortunately, I had enough sense to get "Buttercup" winterized, stabilizer in the tank, and a digital battery maintainer.

Now, all my dear wife has to worry about is finding my teeth marks on the walls and furniture until Spring..:gaah:
