• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rode a 2014 Harley Low Rider TodayL

The local Harley Dealer had a test ride today, I got there near the end so I took the new Low Rider for a test ride. It's a nice looking bike, not really designed for a Senior Citizen.
it is for sure I won't be trading my Spyder Rt. For one. They vibrate a lot at idle and at lower speeds. They smooth out at highway speed.
My Spyder is so much smoother at all times. The Harley is like riding a stove. When waiting at stop lights the amount of heat off the motor was uncomfortable.
i overheard a guy who had taken a TriGlide out and he was complaining about the handling. He said it was all over the road. I'm sure a lot had to be from being used to a two wheeler.

I am so pleased with my Spyder, it will be mine for along time.

Not a fan..!!

Of harleys. But not good to hear the features I don't like are still there. Rumors floating about is they may sell out to Kawazaki, wonder if that would change anything. Though it is part of the mystique...:dontknow:
