There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Yesterday being another in a long string of late season beautiful days here in the Tennessee Smokey Mountains, road one of my bikes over to Chattanooga to have fun visiting some dealerships.

My wife and I visited a Spyder dealership in Prescott, Az and road a brand new at that time '10 Spyder RT SE5, really enjoyed it, talked about it a lot, she loved it and road it like a pro as soon as she took off on it. Life got in the way in the mean time and a subsequent move to the Smokey Mountains......The Dragon is only about 40 miles away...;)

Saw a F3 rip down the road the other day and decided to update my Spyder impression and road down to the Dealer in Chattanooga, the closest dealer at only 70 miles away. Super nice people BTW.

Took a F3 out for a spin.....WOW, what an improvement, the new engine excellent, the SE6 tranny much improved over the SE5 on the '10RT. My overall impression is that Finally BRP has gotten it's Spyder act together with providing a high quality machine that has truly evolved in to a high quality in all aspects machine.

The decision yesterday was made that when the time comes that two wheels starts to become a problem, it will definitely be a Spyder rather than something like a Slingshot.

Have a long time to go as I will be only 73 in a couple of months and even my Road King is still no problem.

The dealer in Chattanooga is the place that I first looked at and sat on a new Spyder in 2010;)

I was riding my brand new 2010 Triumph Scrambler and my bud was on his Heritage, soft tail springer classic.

I have recently decided to buy a new Spyder as soon as I can sell at least one of my bikes. I'm excited about the prospect but it's hard to sell a bike in the Winter.

My friend lives in Ooltewah and I ride or drive in to visit him about every other year. It's about 650+- miles from Carthage. My last trip to see him was on my new 2012 Goldwing and the trip was absolutely wonderful! TN is unbelievable in what it offers in its local mountains and other vacation areas.

Take care!

Sam:yes:

I came from the Harley arena as well. When the nearby dealer sweetened the pot a little (this past Oct.) on his 2015 F3s, I took a test ride:yes:... and the rest, as they say, is history.

After your test ride, you might be surprised at what sort of excuses you can come up with; to make your trade sooner than later. ;)

Don't know if Hooked is correct. My first 2 wheeled motorized vehicle was sometime in the mid 50's, have owned more motorcycles, even two different Mo Peds, than I could possibly count. Have been a serious sport and sport touring rider since the 70's, lots of BMW's. Was a founder and owner of a very successful and prestigious European dealership in California.

Been eyeing the Spyder since about '09 and have followed it closely. Been very aware of all of the teething issues with the Spyder itself and the lack of expertise and quality of the dealers. I feel that both BRP and the dealer body are starting to get a handle on this both with the product and the dealer body.

I am not quiet ready yet as I am still a very young.... 73.......... I still play serious Go-Fast up here on these fantastic mountain roads and the other riders are always surprised when they catch up and with my full coverage helmet comes off........reveling a grey haired old fart....;)

When the time is right, a Spyder is the plan.

I'm 58 and enjoy riding both 2 wheels and 3, I ride my wife's RT to keep the battery charged and yes you can hustle a spyder through the turns. Don't put off something you would enjoy.

Awesome..!!

glad you tested one out.. good to know you will be joining us in the not so near future...:roflblack: test no more or it will be sooner......:lecturef_smilie:

. . .

Just add a Spyder to your bike stable! With some practice you'll find it will "go fast" just like a 2-wheeler.

And BTW, the RT now has the 1330 engine with the SE6, too. Uh-oh, you may need to get 2!! :ohyea:
