There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A few months back, I remember seeing an NBC interview with Trebeck re: his health and the show. He stated the show will go on, and he/NBC actually had some replacements in mind. Trebeck stated that he might like to see a woman carry it forward. No idea who, and not a woman, but I think Ken Jennings could be a logical choice. With (2) months of the show already filmed, I think we'll likely be hearing something within the next month..

Ken Jennings is already on board the staff. His current job is to work on new questions and categories.
ABC had a very good one hour program on Alex last night. It was very eye opening indeed. He was really a good person.
