• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Riding the Three Twisted Sisters

We had a great ride today, stop in Leakey Tx. to fill up before running the three Hill Country roads know as three sisters. While topping the tank off I through I was seeing double, a double to our Spyder pulls in. They had just come from breakfast in Bandera, Tx and were planning on runnng the Sisters. So off we went, two sypders to do the three sisters.

I've ridden the Sisters many times and never tire of the ride. All my rides have been on 2 wheels so far will ride on the Spyder this summer Lord willing.

Is Stonehenge II still out there?
I know there was talk a while back of it being taken down and moved.

It was still there last April when the wife and I were in the area to enjoy the rides including the "sisters".

Wish I had been there since my RT looks just about the same as yours. Mine is a 2010 Silver RT. Then we could have had three triplets riding the three twisted sisters. These are truly great roads to ride. I've ridden them a number of times on two wheels and on three, in the rain, dry, cold, hot, and they are always fun. Back in the '70's I used to ride 337 from Leakey to Vanderpool on my Yamaha RD350 trying to act like Kenny Roberts (not succeeding very well but having fun just the same), then I'd ride back to Leakey a whole lot slower and enjoy the scenery. That road really has it all.

By the way, Stonehenge has been moved. I rode by where it used to be just west of Hunt a while back and was disappointed to see it was gone. Then saw a TV program just the other day that said it had been moved up near Ingram, Texas.
