There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Riding at sunset and at night

3 weeks and 700 miles -- in love with my 2013 RTS SE5 Spyder

Rode at sunset last weekend:
Beautiful ride home at sunset - Clear sky, no clouds; purple edging the eastern horizon, gold rim on the west. Up over a hill and then in front of me is a road rolling down the hill and back up the next. No lights in my rear view mirror and only Tim's lights in front. Cool, crisp air rushing past me. Look up at the sky and the contrails of jets were colored with the golden light of the sun - golden slashes across the sky.
I felt immensely big
I felt infinitely small
Breathed in and felt at peace and one with the night.

Wonderful !!!

Sometimes you find yourself in the middle of nowhere.

And sometimes in the middle of nowhere you find yourself.

Who would guess??

Last night I rode to orchestra rehearsal.
Who would guess that riding the motorcycle to and from orchestra rehearsal would be SOOO filling! There really isn’t a word for it. I had my oboe packed carefully in a backpack on my back. The ride down was nice; and fun; in the daylight on a 50mph road. We rehearse at the local college and classes were letting out when I pulled up -- received envious looks from some of the students. Several orchestra memebers were surprised to see the oboe player pull up on a spyder. 2 hours of orchestra rehearsal ending with Beethoven symphony no. 3.

And then I packed up to leave. It was sooo cool to be in the darkened parking lot, fastening my helmet, zipping up the leather, pulling on my gloves. I straddled my machine and it purred into life. wonderful ride and then I finally got to a stretch of road that runs on a hill top, no cars with me. The sky was black and the stars were diamonds. It was me and the stars and the wind around me. I was warm - leather jacket, the Spyder runs warm between my knees. Windshield was up, visor was down. I was comfortable – I could have ridden forever, breathing in the night, the dark and the stars.

This is love.

Nicely put..!!

but then that's the way we feel when ryding the back roads especially a 5,000 feet looking into the mountains dawn dusk and in between. Glad you were able to enjoy it. It is a hundred time better on a roadster..!!

A picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes a few well articulated words conjures up wonderful images. Thanks for the images. I was riding Friday with clear blue sky and little traffic and it just felt "so right".

Now that is living

I know how you feel. It's also great to have momma on the back giving you a hug along the way. And yes a little elevation helps. Here in the Keys it's the view from the top of the bridges that is so incredibly beautiful.

Well, if you are going to speak of the Keys and sunsets, I'd have to vote for Mallory Square/Duval St.

I'll give it a shot....

My Beautiful Ebony Machine stands anxiously in my dark, eerie garage as I rest my tweaked, throbbing back from trying to push her out of her stable two days ago on my way to work. No diamonds, no contrails, just a ticked off ryder.

nice.
hope you are back on the Ebony Machine. The second trike sat in our garage for several weeks this summer due to the rider's bum foot. It was quite jealous of my Spyder going out for air.
