• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spent 5 hours today on twisty mtn roads heading from Upstate SC to Blue Ridge Parkway. All of them turning and burning. Fun, fun, FUN!
However, I may be too, uhh, mature for this $# | ฯ. I'm so sore I can't lie still without hurting.:2thumbs::riding: Worth it.

Nah, that's just an illusion caused by lack of drugs!

Asprin taken with food is pretty good for that sort of aches & pains if you're allowed, but whatever is your choice for anti-inflam/low level aches & pains will probably work just as well for the 'tired & achy after ryding' type pains!

When ever I plan to spend riding for more than a short ride, I take two Ibuprofen Liquid Softjels. Most of my riding is rather aggressively in the great Twisties here in the Smokey Mountains. I turned 76 yesterday. Works like a charm, the other secret is to stay active and do not get FAT......er.....Over weight.

:congrats: Don't stop it will all work out. :agree:

At 75 (last month), I agree. Been taking 'vitamin I' for years before big rides. Also found that a 5 Hour Energy keeps me alert at the tail end of those 500 plus mile days. Have to say "do not get TOO over weight." Age causes slowing of the metabolism and fat just don't burn like it used to!

If you are doing 500 mile days you're doing something right!!

Vitamin I-LOL. "Not too fat"-no, trying to lose slowly, the small way I gained it. Hopefully will stay off. Must say, longer distances are sooo much easier on a Spyder. Will never be an Iron Butter though!

I was on the BRP a couple of weeks ago (in a car unfortunately). It was my first time there, but I was only able to go from Asheville to Craggy Gardens as it was closed beyond that. However, that was one fantastic piece of roadway. Holy cow! Fun and beauty all in one.
