• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Retrofit cruise on 2013+ models

New guy here, ST-S SE5 in magnesium to be picked up next weekend for my wife, I'm still on two wheels. I've spent the last two days searching the forum constantly but will likely need to ask some questions so here comes the first: if one were to order a 2013 or later model (throttle by wire) WITHOUT cruise is it possible to retrofit cruise control? Seems like cruise is entirely a software function that's likely already there, just hook up the switches and go.

Those more knowledgeable than I will chime in shortly; but I believe that All models 2013 and forward come with cruise as standard equipment. Can't get them without :gaah:

The base 2013 ST does not include cruise but the ST-S and ST-L do.
I'm pretty sure the RS and RT follow a similar pattern but brp's website should remove any questions there.

Since the cruise is purely electronic (due to the electronic throttle) I don't think a retrofit would be impossible or even difficult but it might be costly.
