There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Replacing rear rotor, anything to look out for?

Does the rear rotor on a 2020RTL just bolt to the hub? I'm getting ready to replace the rear tire and going to replace the rotor that I got from Baja Ron. Is there anything to look out for etc? Thanks

BajaRon is a helpful, knowledgeable vendor as well as experienced rider and mechanic. I suggest you direct your question to him as his shop has performed this change multiple times. And an electronic service manual is an inexpensive investment with excellent ROI.

It is pretty much a simple remove and replace. Be sure to torque the rotor bolts in a cross pattern in stages like you would a wheel lug nut. Same with the ABS ring. You shouldn't have any trouble.

FYI, the rotor bolts are slathered with Yellow Loctite and are a B*tch to loosen if they haven't been removed before... You would be better off getting & using an impact driver with the correct bit on it vs a standard ratchet to get them broken loose. You may find the bolts feel like they seize up when trying to turn them. Stop, and switch directions to tighten them a tiny bit, repeating this back and forth pattern to prevent the Loctite from galling the threads... ... And sometimes, heat is even needed... Once removed, use a wire wheel or brush to remove the remaining Yellow Loctite and blow out the mounting holes to remove as much Loctite & Loctite "dust" as possible. Use Blue Loctite when reassembling (you will thank yourself later)....

I had used a pneumatic impact on mine...took them right off. I had started with a ratchet and said to heck with that!

Be very careful of the shims on the ABS sensor when you remove it. Don't lose any, you'll need to put them all back in upon reinstalling the wheel.
