• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removing Passenger Grab Bars

Obviously, this is a non-mechanic posting this.

Can you remove the F3 passenger grab bars by just removing those visible screws? And, if so, is there anything else that might mysteriously pop out or fall to the ground when you do? (I do so hate surprises.)

The reason I'm asking is that I believe I'll be able to mount saddlebags on those short "posts" that hold the grab bars on, but I have to temporarily remove them first.

So, will this be as simple as it seems, or will the back tire fall off :roflblack: or some other part that doesn't seem obviously related, get misalligned in the process) as I'm losening the screws?
:dontknow:
