• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RELAY THREAD REVISITED

I've read several of the threads in the past reference relays. However, most of these threads were addressed in 2009 when the RT-S was not around. I will say that there have been a few threads discussing this issue in 2010, but for the life of me, I'm not sure whether they were talking about the RS or the RT.

Consequently, I'll apologize in advance, but will ask a couple of questions. First, and the reason why I'm asking is the part number for the fan relay on the RT-S. Additionally, is there a clone being sold by Napa, Auto Zone, ect. that will work. I noted on one thread a relay that had 5 prongs and was mentioned as working. My relay for the fan only has 4 prongs.

Secondly, can one relay work as a substitute (whether to "get you home" or not) for ALL of the relays. I believe that I have about 5 relays in the frunk. If I buy one, will it work for ALL the relays there?

Again, I apologize if this has been previously addressed. Please allow for the fact that I'm not the smartest kid on the block when it comes to these things.

PS: My parts department has ordered this relay and each time it hasn't been what is needed. Sumptin ain't right here.

Having sourced spare fuses both the Mini Blade type and J Case type to crarry as spares for my Spyder RT -S
(Thanks for the information found on this website)
My next step is to obtain some spare relays to have just in case

Do I need a complete set or as already ask are some relays interchangeable
If someone can suggest the type and number of relays one should consider
to have as a back up this would be helpful

Thanks
