• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Relay tap for Powerlet

I am installing a Powerlet that is pre-wired with a relay. Can someone suggest which wire to tap for the relay? I have a lot of plastic removed in the middle of the bike so something towards the rear would be preferable.

In the rear, the light green/gray wire going to the passenger heated grip lighting is a good choice. Not sure of the best choice in front. Ideally, you would want to get something that goes through the load-shedding relay like the rear grip lighting. The gauge lighting wires would be a good choice, but they are ignition switched, not active only after the engine starts. Be aware that the RT already has a 10 amp connector that is hot all the time, up front. This is meant for a second power outlet, like in the rrunk, but is tied to the left suspension tower as a spare.

Thanks. I'll give the green/gray a try as it's easily accessible.

BTW - did they stop wiring when they ran out of color combinations?
